Our Directors

Who Is Our Founder?

Hey! My name is Johevah and I'm a rising senior in Ottawa, Canada. I enjoy playing rugby, writing music/poetry, and bingeing Netflix. I joined Girls, Let's Chat because I wanted to be a part of an organization that empowered girls and minorities in STEM. Reading blogs and being a part of workshops that feature women is a great way for young girls to get involved and interested in STEM.

Reshma is currently a rising high school senior from Pittsburgh, PA, serving as a director of the web design executive team for Girls, Lets Chat. She has become a leader within her school community by promoting inclusivity through self-started initiatives and fundraisers, beyond the STEM fields. She is thrilled to be an integral part of Girls, Lets Chat, and looks forward to connecting with individuals just as passionate as her to bridge our STEM fields.

Our Editor In Chiefs

Hi! I'm Annie, a high school junior from Frisco, Texas. I am currently the co-editor in chief for Girls, Let's Chat and in my spare time I love to sing, dance, write, and spend time with my friends and family. I aspire to be an engineer in the near future and possibly run my own company one day! I joined Girls, Let's Chat because opportunities to educate girls about STEM are incredibly important. I believe this club will inspire young girls to become eager to learn and will create future women leaders in the STEM field... now THAT is a movement I want to join!

Hi! My name’s Risha and I’m from Plano, Texas! Throughout high school, I was the executive director for SparkSTEM (a nonprofit organization created by Plano students), executive writer for WeSTEM Magazine, co-captain of my robotics team, president of the science fair club, and primary STEM representative for SkillsUSA. I was also an active member of the National Honors Society as well as the Spanish Honors Society! In my free time, I love to play the violin, read, figure skate, and embroider.

I immediately took interest in this organization not only due to my personal experiences as a woman minority in STEM but also my passion for driving an increase of representation of women in technological and scientific industries.

Our Director

My name is Michelle Zheng and I am a rising senior from New Jersey. I wanted to join this organization because of the message of how minorities can succeed in the field of technology such as a person of color and being a female.
